INFLUENCE # 9 – Coaches Workshop ‘Lots of tears in South Milwaukee as coaches open up’

Servant Cultures partnered with Raising The Steaks Fundraising and put on another awesome INFLUENCE Event.  The INFLUENCE events are designed to reinforce to coaches the important roles that they play in influencing young student athletes and offers real world strategies to help the coaches build leadership skills.  INFLUENCE #9 was hosted in South Milwaukee at the Knights of Columbus.  We had over 50 people in attendance and by far our largest attendance of females.   Patrick Van Abel kicked off the evening with an introduction to the Servant Cutlures Podcast which launched in February of 2019.  Pat has had Dave Skogen from Festival Foods, Steve Jones ‘Nations Best’ 70 game win streak with on his podcast many more episodes coming out soon.  The Servant Cutlures podcast can be found at www.servantcultures.com

Jake Davis head football coach at Germantown High School gave an incredibly emotional presentation about the power of vulnerability.  He told the story of how with the loss of his daughter changed his perspective on his ‘WHY’ in coaching.

Jennifer Endries of Rasmussen College started ‘Everyday leadership starts with Trust’.  Her ‘Lollipop moment’ was a great analogy of how our smallest actions can positively impact people for the rest of our lives.

Finally, Mark Maas head Track coach at Whitewater High School absolutely crushed it with his presentation on ‘One Team One Family’.  Again, a coaches smallest actions and comments can change lives forever.

INFLUENCE #10 is being planned for Neenah sometime in Late may.  More information will be coming out shortly.
